Excel Class

computing was kinda fun
maybe coz i've learn some it in kuen cheng before
so it didn't give me much problem
but my dear lonna aka mummy really can't do excel
she was so panicky in class today
freaking cute lar that girl *haha*
wish we had more classes on computing

it's only the 2nd week of school

and my workload is already piling up

20 MCQs and 5 subjective questions with answers for T5

and

essay questions for T1

i can barely finish all of them in time

and yet

the lecturers are still happily giving out more homeworks

i need a break

*sighs*

Driving Test

hey peeps.. i'm proud to announce that i've PASSED my driving test today
*leaping for joy*
i was freaking out while waiting for my turn
but everything turned out just fine
it took quite some time
as there were 3 groups of candidates taking the tests
they grouped us in colors
putih(retakers), kuning(not so sure.. but i think they're first-timers also) and hijau(me!! =P)
following the sequence of the color arranged
my group was the last to be tested

i did parking 1st
the car was kinda old = crutch kinda high
so took some time getting used to it
some people had problems with their hand brakes also
either they couldn't lift it up
or couldn't put it down
haven't eaten breakfast i guess
no energy.. XD

uncle thompson drove us there earlier
so we did 1 round of practice then it's straight to the test
i was kinda scared of the slope
quite a few people failed that part
just because they weren't used to the crutch
and the car slipped backwards a little
poor people..
my tyre was actually a few inches out of the yellow line
and i was so scared that the tester will fail me
he asked me to wait a sec
and i was like oh no...
then he said "jalan"
man, do i love that guy!! =D

then straight to the parking space
i did what i need to do
and when i was ready to drive out
the tester (another one) suddenly said stop and stood up from her small pondok to the back my car
i didn't know what to do
scared she's gonna fail me or something
after awhile she said "jalan"
that's the only word i need to hear
and i was outta there

after passing everything
we went back to pondok A to wait for our turn for the on the road test
this is the scary part
i'm not really good driving on the road, seriously
and i was freaking nervous
then we waited so long for our turn
my anxiety was slowly converted into exhaustion and then i just wanted to quickly get everything over with

my tester looks scary at first
but he was quite a nice guy
told me when to put signal light
reminded me to change gear and stuff
he even helped me brake
guess he was even more terrified than i was *wakakaka*
told meeiqi and evelyn and they were like "yiiiiii, how come your tester so good de.."
evelyn's tester didn't even choi her when she greeted him
at 1st we thought the tester was in a bad mood
but no... it was because evelyn said selamat pagi instead of selamat petang
she said selamat pagi at 2 something in the afternoon
no wonder don't wanna choi her lar
that woman got her time all mixed up *haha*
on the way back, evelyn asked uncle thompson whether she could go for the test again
she said it was fun
that girl really rich lar
waste her money like that
buy me lunch also better than this

very happy that i've got the test done
don't have to worry about it anymore
will be driving to sunway
a few months later XD
of course lar~~
need to practice 1st mar
some more that place is so scary
always jam and the cars just fly by like nobody's business

anyway, got school tomorrow
erm.. actually in a few hours time
still got some revision to do
so..

School-ing days

everyone has been asking me this a lot these days
wanna guess it??
yup, it's the "how is your college/uni ah?" question
haha..
not that i'm complaining or anything
i just wanna say a big THANK YOU to you guys
for caring and being worried for me
love you!! *huggss*

school was not too bad
well, it's only my 1st week
so complaints are yet to come... XP
i'm able to cope with the lessons
so i'm quite happy with it ^^
at 1st i was kinda worried about me, a pure science student undertaking an accounting course
i mean, i have no basic or whatsoever
and i have a whole class of people who've been taking that subject for like 2 years minimum
gosh, that's a lot of pressure
but after talking to a few people in class
turns out i wasn't the only pure science student after all
*phew*
and my lecturers are great!!
they'll be even better if they don't suffocate us with homeworks
lols..

the only problem i have is my full-like-crazy timetable
i have classes every single day
monday to friday
starting from 8am till like 4:30pm
it's worst than my years in kuen cheng seriously
there are even days that i have lessons till like 5:30pm
i'm gonna reach home dead i tell you
seriously considering whether i wanna drive to school
i don't think i can drive after those stuff-your-brain-with-everything-you-can long sessions
plus the stupid jam back home just terrifies me
my lecturer, ms geetha even said we had the crappiest timetable of all times
well, that's just great...

met hui mien in school today
and also zhijie's friend
not quite sure of her name
i only know she names herself hing zero in facebook
hehe..
their classes start much later than ours
and they were having this tour around school
no fair!! i didn't getta tour around during my orientation =P
well, i sorta tagged along for the tour since i had nothing to do
it was just great seeing people from KC
not until i've met 1 of my classmates did i realize that i actually miss them alot
all those feelings just sorta got buried with all these craziness happening recently
gosh, i miss you guys
and i'm soooooo happy to have some KC mates in sunway
though we were not close before this
but i bet i'll be closer to them than anyone else in that school

i wanna go back to KC
i miss my girlfriends~~ =(

Start Anew

school's starting tomorrow
actually it's gonna start in a few hours
haha..
even though it's just an orientation day
but it's a big step for me
new environment
and
gotta mix with new people
i'm afraid of changes
and that's why i tend to get nervous when i have to face them
everyone keeps telling me i'll be fine
and i'm sure i will
this is only temporary i'm sure
after i get used to it
i'll love going to school for sure

and cousins
for telling me everything will be fine
for encouraging me
and also
for just being there for me
love you guys

i'm terrified of tomorrow
but i'll face it with a big smile

we've known each other for ages
from primary4 and until now
wow!! it's been 10 years
not easy to have a friend for that long
we must keep this friendship going =D

she has been a GREAT friend
lend me a lot of her comics and books
she's got tons i tell you
we share a lot in common
spent a lot of my time and life on her
go where also together
toilet lar, tuition lar
i've even brought her along during 1 of the stedfast camp
too many memories shared
too many words to say
i'll just keep this short and sweet kay

we've had our ups and downs
weird enough, we've never argued
i guess we've known each other for so long
we tend to just forgive and forget
i love this relationship of ours ^^

she went through a lot this year
and i've seen her changes
people may not like her sometimes
or criticize her behind her back
i guess it can't be helped what people say about you
just believe in yourself kay
what they say might be true
or just lies
do not change yourself for the sake of pleasing others
change, if you must, to be a better person

everything might change in future
but i seriously hope we'll remain the same
i propose that we meet up every month
i'm gonna miss you dearly my friend~~

New Year . New Beginning

oh my gosh it's 2009
but why do i feel like it's still 2008??

2008 had been quite a good year to me
sure there were some ups and downs
but i've also learned a lot from it
all that is bad
may it be forgotten
but all that is good
may it be with me forever

everything's gonna be different in 2009
starting university in a few days time
i'm kinda scared and worried to be honest
scared of the future
and scared of what i'll become in the future
pray for me kay
and i'll surely pray for you

may 2009 be a good year for all of us
and may we all
achieve what we aim for

Christmas 2008

Okay.. i know i promised to post about christmas

sorry it took me so long

so here it is..

carolling:

we had 3 nights of carolling this year

1st time this happen since i've joined

i think it's the 1st time ever

haha..

anyway, auntie tried to fit all the houses into 2 nights

but she failed so yeah 3 nights of ultimate fun

and exhaustion also but who cares?!

the 1st night was okay

everyone was in high spirits

talk loudly, sing loudly, laugh also extremely loud

haha..

tim drove the van

sad for him lah

just got back only have to drive us around

got jet lag somemore

my mum was like, don't talk too much to timothy

later got accident

but tim say must talk more wor

if not he'll fall asleep

lols..

we had john in the van

serious joker lah that guy

can't stop cracking up jokes

oh ya

i was employed by my boss

to hold his precious farida

it's his guitar by the way

and you know what he pays me with

chocolates

little kid still doesn't know the real value of money

sad kid

haha..

then the 2nd night

tim had to do worship leader

so i followed stephen's car

well actually i was supposed to be in lingchee's van

but john so eagerly helped me switch with ah kong

i seriously think that he's in love with ah kong

couldn't bare a minute without him

people got double y dy lar john!! shoo~~

wakakaka..
anyway, poor stephen's car ran out of battery at kiara ville
at 1st the car's air cond was not cold
then the lights on the dashboard starts to shimmer and dimmed off
we had to wind down our windows and thank god it was evening
we don't need to be dried out by the sun
hehe..
auntie and jen may called and ask why our driver switched off his headlights
passed by a police car somemore
real excitement man
hehe..

the houses we visited are all oh-so-big-and-expensive

and they provide good food too =D

you could just get a heart attack by just looking at the exterior

all the carollers were like WOW

haha..

after singing carols we'll just walk around the house

taking pictures like tourist

that's why i got tagged tons in facebook XP
every house i went
i was like daddy ben i want this house
then when i got to the next house
i'd rather have that 1 then the previous
and ben will be like sweat..
haha..
ah kong said he'll buy a house in kiara ville and invite us over
i said i don't wanna be invite over
i wanna STAY there
lmao..

i hold the chords for the guitarists this year

1st time doing this

it's not my job actually but rachel, the 1 supposed to hold for them, could only join us at the 4th house

so i help 1st lo

and my boss aka ben yong was HORRIBLE to me T_________T

dunno what did i do to deserve such bad treatment

haha..

anyway, holding chords for them was kinda fun
getta see them go all "feeling" like daddy ben say
the guitarist are all insane!!
and now with the new recruit of ben yong, zhi yuan, tim auyong and sian jee
they're getting more and more psycho =P

then the 3rd and last night of our long awaited carolling
the houses weren't as huge and breathtaking as the previous nights
and yeah we still got stuffed with A LOT of food
don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing
followed lingchee's van
can you imagine lingchee and john together in 1 van?
oh my gosh
lingchee likes to ejek him and john just easily fall into his traps
then make all of us laugh
poor john
at least we weren't bored in the van
hehe..
nothing much happened for the rest of the night until we got trapped in a lift at leechin's house
my 1st experience
and luckily i wasn't alone
there was 13 of us
auntie, uncle, me, boon ho, jen may, lee yng, siew siew, wei chiew, sin yun, sian jee, paul, tim ay and pastor ling
all 1st time except sian jee who got trapped once before in our church lift
poor guy
haha..
we were trapped in there for 40++ minutes
and auntie was like scolding the operator through the small talking thingy in the lift
lousy lift only had 1 fan
it was midnight and the technician was on his way
but still auntie kept yelling at the operator
anxiety i guess
haha..
it was actually not that bad as the lights were still on
and we had a fan at least
lee yng said we were lucky that auntie got trapped with us
otherwise she could've left with the others
and make us find our own transportation home
haha..
and wei chiew kept reminding us not to laugh
as it takes up a lot of oxygen
then we laughed even harder XP
when we finally came out of the lift
sian jee, tim ay and i decided to walk up to leechin's house
we were at the 3rd floor and leechin's at the 8th
plus all the houses were double storey
so we walked up about 10 storeys of stairs
i was out of breath when i reached the house
that 2 still can play guitar
i guess i'm getting old -_____-
after that heard that the guys had a great time fooling around
while we were trapped in the lift
just great
=P

oh my gosh..
i should have post this sooner
this is longggggggg
i'm tired~~

okay next is christmas:
we usually have christmas service at istana hotel
but this year we had it in chin woo stadium
the place was big
but i personally prefer istana
haha..
zhiyuan came with a christmas sock full of sweets
he was supposed to give to the little kids
ben and i tagged along
and in the end it was us giving out the sweets
haha..
it was kinda fun to see the kids smilling happily after receiving sweets
guess i should do it again next year
wakakakaka...
busy day for me
there was a performance by the cantata choir (the first noel) and also sunday school kids (happy birthday jesus)
both in which i was involved
well actually i intended to not do the sunday school performance
i mean hello
i'm 18 and still performing as a sunday school kid?!
please lar~~
lols..
tried to hide away from auntie
but failed
so had to perform also
haih..
and then don't know who so smart
arrange the performance 1 after another
so i was like walking down the stage from 1 performance
then walking up again for the next 1
haha..

after the service my family and i were ready to leave
every year we never stay back for the christmas luncheon
we always have lunch over aunt mary's place
but not this year
and there were 5 empty seats
so we just joined in
i was sitting with my parents at 1st
but then there was an empty seat at another table with YOUNGER people
so i joined them instead
haha..
my mum was also dying for me to leave them alone anyway
she said i was a magnet
and everywhere i go
people will come looking for me
so not true~~
i am NOT a magnet, mum.. =P
anyway, lunch was great
went crazy with my ridiculous partner hor peay pei
yup, we're the ridiculous duo
haha..

and so that ends my memorable and eventful christmas
too bad we're not having carolling anymore
there were some rumours
and i hope it's not true
